I know, I know, it has been an age. What can I say? I've been a bit busy...
I fully intended to do an update after Gallifrey.
I absolutely for definite wanted to do a posting about the fact that I've gone six days a week on The Alfie Joey Show (in addition to the regular Monday to Friday at 3:45 slot I can also be heard on Alfie's Comic Cuts on Saturday at around 1:35 ish).
I positively, certainly, most definitely was going to do something on the new season of Doctor Who or Waking the Dead, or on why Dr Alice Roberts should be canonised for services to punk rock.
But, you know what they say - the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. And tarmac. Probably.
So anyway today, I was going to post up a lengthy report about The Rift, the Torchwood/James Marsters event that I attended on Saturday (officially to moderate the writers panel but, in reality mainly, to spend a day on the lash in London in a room full of ladies). Unfortunately, that bleeding James Moran's already written one that'd be at least ten times better than anything I could do.
So, go here
http://jamesmoran.blogspot.com/2008/04/rift-aftermath.html
read his and then understand why I don't blog as much as I used to.
These bloody talented "proper" writers, they get on my nerves so they do...
PS: That Kai Owen - what a star.
He bought me a pint, so he did. That won't be forgotten in a hurry!
